- ESD, automatic isolation, depressurisation and purging philosophy
- Engine-control system, permissives, alarms and shutdown logic
- Pre-start preparation, starting and manoeuvring
- Liquid-fuel/gas changeover and normal gas operation
- Performance monitoring and abnormal-condition recognition
- Gas-system and combustion faults
- Inspection, maintenance, Permit to Work and LOTO
- Emergency response and safe recovery
SIMULATOR / APPLIED EXERCISES
- System familiarisation, gas path, permissives and interlocks
- Engine start/load, gas-mode changeover and parameter monitoring
- Gas-pressure failure, leak alarm, injection fault, ESD and safe recovery
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Operate and monitor an ME-GI engine more safely
- Perform fuel changeovers and recognise abnormal conditions
- Respond systematically to gas-system faults and emergencies
TRAINING METHODOLOGY
