Course Description :
The course consists of the following :
- Guided Tutorials (16 hours)
- Free Play – to practice freely on the manufacturer’s original, type-approved, software
- Online Test – leading to an individual certificate. (2 Attempts Allowed in 24 hours. Passing Marks 70%)
The ECDIS Type-specific training course provides officers with the system knowledge required to use this ECDIS for watch-keeping in accordance with the regulations of STCW and the ISM Code. The guided tutorial, with duration of approx. 16 hours, covers the equipment familiarisation requirements of IMO Model Course 1.27 and MCA MIN 442 M+F for the functions and controls of the ECDIS 900
