- IMSBC Code – cargo properties, hazards and operational requirements
- Cargo liquefaction: causes, warning signs and preventive measures
- Classification of dangerous, hazardous and harmful cargoes
- IMDG Code – documentation, declaration and packing requirements
- Segregation, stowage and compatibility of dangerous goods
- Shipboard safety management and risk assessment during cargo operations
- Emergency response procedures for cargo-related incidents
- Roles and responsibilities of Masters, Officers and crew
